Domestic Arts Emporium takes skills and creative methods usually associated with the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries, and gives them a 21st century twist.

Our products are carefully handmade.  Thus, we provide our discriminating customers with unique items. 

We are environmentally conscious, and use "green" materials and methods whenever possible.  For example, our scarves are dyed with natural materials, often from those we gather ourselves from the local area; our mordants to set dyes are non-toxic; and facial cloths are handknit of 100% and/or organic cotton.

Our most popular product is our Soap for Sensitive Skin.  Using oils such as olive, palm and coconut oils, we add emollients and skin-friendly honey, avocado oil, goat milk or oatmeal. We've received feedback that the soaps are helping relieve the dry, itchy skin that so many of us suffer in winter.
